PestPac – Creating a Lead

Purpose

To provide guidance and to establish procedures for Client Service Representatives as they need to enter a lead that corresponds to a bid or inspection.

Materials and Equipment

Access to PestPac on a desktop format.

Procedure

To be done before scheduling an appointment with the client

 

  1. In PestPac, select Leads from the left menu.
  2. Select the gold Add button from the top right corner.
  3. Fill in the required fields with information from the client. These are the fields in RED.
  4. Make sure “Create Location on Save” is checked.
  5. Select the gold Add button from the top right corner. This will take you to the screen to add the Location.
  6. If the Location already exists, then a screen will pop up. Select “Create Lead for this Location.
  7. Work with the client to schedule the upcoming bid or inspection.
  8. Once scheduled, go back into the Lead and input the following:
    • Pending Event
    • Pending Date
    • Salesperson. The salesperson will be the Technician who is scheduled onsite.
  9. Click Save.

 

Once the Technician gets onsite, more information will need to be entered. When verifying the work day, return to the Lead and enter the following:

  • Service
  • Target
  • Proposed Value
  • Comments: Any pertinent information regarding the bid/inspection.
